Narrow Escape is perched on the edge of the sea where the Atlantic ocean flows between the shores of Lubec, Maine US and Campobello Island, New Brunswick Canada.  This quaint village is edged by rocky shoreland where seals, whales, eagles, and other wondrous wildlife exist in harmony with the people who call this remote peninsula home.

Since our first day in business, we have been offering our customers an array of individually-curated, artisanal items that enhance the beauty of our lives. However, as our customers continued to yearn for good coffee, we answered the call by adding our full espresso bar, then food, then wine.   

You can count on an excellent cup of coffee prepared by our trained baristas.  The shop owner trained at the Espresso Academy in Florence, Italy, gaining certification from the Specialty Coffee Association.  These skills have been shared with our team of baristas.
