Finally made it to Lubec and was so excited to visit your lovely shop! Great service and coffee! Also picked up some gifts. Hope to see you again soon!

What a great experience we had at this coffee shop! We stopped in for espresso that was fantastic! The owner was lovely and made us feel as welcome as guests in her home. I will definitely go back and when I have guests from away, I'll be glad to take them there. I highly recommend Narrow Escape.

"After a nice bike ride to Quoddy Head, we were looking for a nice coffee to sip as we started our 5 hour drive south. We just so happened to be parked right next to this shop. It is a very pleasant place with very good coffee. Definitely did not expect a city-type coffee house in Lubec :). The coffee, was great, just wish the lattes came in a bit larger size. Grabbed a turkey wrap while I was there for later and it was tasty."

This is THE best coffee shop in Lubec. All the yummy pastries and other food items are nice! I go every chance I get.

Lubec may be a small town, but it now has a high-quality coffee stop.  Narrow Escape offers barista quality cappuccinos, lattes and other coffee-based drinks.  You can also find local tea including tea with blueberries.   I typically order a flat white and find it to be very smooth.  There are also pastries which are freshly baked in the shop daily, I often devour for the blueberry coffee cake or the cinnamon rolls.  The shop originated as a gift shop and has many local quality items which gives you something to peruse as you sip your latte.  While Narrow Escape is the only game in town for quality coffee, it is definitely worth a stop.
